FRACTIONAL LASER
How does it work?
The Fractional CO2 Laser creates thousands of tiny “columns” of treatment on the skin called “microthermal treatment zones“.
This treatment reduces surface waste cells while penetrating a little deeper into the superficial dermis (middle layer of skin). Very important are also the areas that the Laser leaves unaffected and this is the reason why the “target” areas heal much faster, compared to if the whole area was healed instantly. Healing cells will migrate directly from these intact areas.

Before the treatment, there will be an extensive discussion with your doctor about the benefits of the method, the areas of concern, how you will be after the treatment, how many sessions will be needed, etc.
Because each treatment “targets” about 20 to 25% of the skin surface, usually 3 to 5 treatments are needed for maximum results.
Treatments can be given at intervals of 2 to 6 weeks
The results are immediate and medium-term.
Maximum effect is visible after 2 to 3 months.
- Fractional CO2 Laser treatment is performed in the office (no clinic required).
- You must be at the clinic at least 45 minutes before the scheduled time in order to apply EMLA anaesthetic cream to your skin.
- Remove make-up, make-up or anything else from the face.
THE RENEWAL
- After the treatment, for 2 – 3 hours, there is a feeling of a mild burning sensation (like after sunbathing).
- Slight swelling, maybe present for 2 – 3 days. The skin depending on the type and intensity of the treatment will get a tone of pink color and light brown for 3 – 10 days, which shows that the treatment is thorough.
- Make up application on the same day.
- Many return to work and social obligations on the same day, while some rest at home for the first 2 to 3 days.
- After the treatment, sunscreen and continuous moisturizing should be used.
- The changes that occur in the skin are spectacular and the improvement continues for the next 2-3 months.
