BOTOX – DYSROTRTE
It is common for a B.T. to be applied to someone immediately after the first update at the same visit. It may have happened to you.
You may not have been properly prepared for some things you may have needed to ask, investigate, do, do or avoid, such as the following.
1) Experience so far has evolved the way B.T. is applied so that it can be WITHOUT PAIN, with appropriate manipulation by the doctor.
The Technique of Application and the doses used have changed. The “Frozen Face” is a thing of the past. The physical image and expression is what is required.
The muscular arrangement on your face needs to be investigated. The duration of the effect is the current issue. You wonder why the results last 7 months in some and 2 months in others.
There are 3 different types of muscle configuration, in which B.T. is indicated, depending on the muscle tone:
Orthomotor type: There is absolute synchronization of emotions and mimetic expressions. The effect of B.T. can last 7 – 9 months and more! The application can be done once a year ! Those who have this type are the ideal candidates.
Hyperkinetic type: There is no synchronization between muscle contractions and the expression of emotions. The effect can last 4 – 6 months maybe less. It is the most common type. Applications are made 2 to 3 times a year.
Hypertonic type: It is the opposite effect of lack of control, as in the hyperactive type. The result is disappointing, the wrinkles do not disappear completely, muscle contraction is blocked only for a short time 1 – 2 months, which means it takes less time than all of them. They need 4 to 5 applications every year. The goal is to gradually turn into a hyperactive and eventually a motor type.
Depending on the area of the face, there is a dominant type. A person may have muscles that are hyperactive in one area and hypermobile in another.
There are 3 different types of muscle behavior after B.T. application.
- Atonic
- Sluggish
- Stimulant
Their recognition and the balanced dosage of B.T. can give a balanced result, without “frozen” expression.
In other muscles, hypomobility is sought and in others the maintenance of reduced tone, always in combination with the balance that must exist between the upper and lower part of the face, thus with the application of mixed methods, LASER & Fillers.
You always need a personalized application plan to achieve the natural expression within the framework of the desired image upgrade.
2) Cheap B.T. can be FAKE, Chinese, or Unrecognized, Unlegally Listed, or Improperly Prepared, or Fractured, or Stolen, or Too Diluted.
3) The doctor who will apply it to you must be a dermatologist or plastic surgeon.
4) If you are a woman, avoid applying in the first few days of your cycle.
5)What to AVOID two weeks BEFORE two weeks before application, so that there are no traces after application:
We recommend that you avoid substances that increase the possibility of small bruises at the micro-pinch points. They may be medicines or other substances, such as herbs, grasses, etc., that have anticoagulant action, such as:
- Anti-inflammatory drugs
- Ibuprofen – BRUFEN, ALGOFREN
- Celecoxib – CELEBREX
- Naproxen – NAPROSYN, ANAPROX
- Acetylsalicylic acid – ASPIRIN, SALOSPIR, KALMALIN, ALGON, SPLENTIR, PONOTEX
Unlike hyaluronic acid, this material is not injected into the skin but into the muscle that forms the wrinkle. Unfortunately, it cannot correct every wrinkle, wherever it is located, because it is only used in non-functioning muscles.
It concerns, primarily, the wrinkles between the eyebrows, in the forehead and on “goose leg“, that is, on the side of the eyes. In these areas it brings a very good to impressive result.
The important thing with this method is that as long as the result lasts, the wrinkle does not worsen. That is, it remains stagnant in its improved form. If the wrinkle was created many years ago, one can get an impressive result by combining Botox-dyspore with hyaluronic acid.
It is a material that has been used for many years by various medical specialties and in larger quantities than those used in Aesthetic Surgery and has demonstrated a high safety index.
The application takes about 10 minutes and one can appear in the environment after about an hour. The duration of its effect on first application ranges between 2-12 months with an average of around 4-6 months. However, each time it is repeated, the duration increases in most people. The effect is not immediate, but comes gradually over a period of one to 15 days, averaging 3-4 days. It has become very popular worldwide, especially in the United States, because of the simplicity of the procedure in relation to the very satisfactory result it offers.
Apart from fighting wrinkles, these materials (Botox, dyspore) are also ideal for the treatment of excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis).
What should I look out for?
To get the look you want and reduce the risk of having, for a period of time, a “frozen” or inflated forehead, remember that Botox treatment is a medical procedure and it’s not just an aesthetic application. Also, you should carefully follow the instructions before and after applying the treatment.
How painful is the procedure?
Needles are not as painful as you might assume, if applied carefully and harmoniously by a person with a corresponding experience and knowledgebecause they are too subtle. When the Botox is dense enough, the insertion is done with a very small needle and the hand performing the procedure is experienced and “light”, the experience is not painful.
Who is Botox indicated for?
When used correctly, this procedure is one of the most effective and safe and effective treatments. When the application is successful, on specific muscles of the face, it relaxes them, calms them and thus softens and “sweetens” the wrinkles.
BOTOX AND SWEATING
Botox and sweating
Almost every person sweats when they get hot or exercise. However, some people sweat excessively in their armpits, palms, feet, forehead to such an extent that it causes them social and psychological problems. These individuals suffer from a condition known as Hyperhidrosis.
It afflicts one in twenty people worldwide. It’s a problem that causes uncomfortable social situations and embarrassment, mainly because of excessive sweatingthe stains left on clothes by sweat, but even the stench that sometimes accompanies it.
Botox treatment against Hyperhidrosis
There are some therapeutic methods against excessive sweating, such as:
- Antiperspirant creams and sprays.
- Surgical removal of sweat glands.
- Sympathectomy (cutting off the sympathetic nerves that give commands
- in the sweat glands).
- Iontophoresis (blocking the sweat glands with galvanic electricity).
Although removal of sweat glands is effective for many people, it can lead to scarring in the armpits and other complications. Similarly sympathectomy which is also effective, has the risk of unforeseen surgical complications and reactive sweating. Iontophoresis needs repeated applications. The result is rarely complete and therefore not satisfactory for most people. Some benefit from oral anticholinergic preparations, which block the nerve transmitters that control the sweat glands. Although effective for some, this treatment has several side effects which include blurred vision, dry mouth, swelling and constipation.
So the salvation of these patients came with Botox, which reduces the production of sweat and has proven to be beneficial to the person suffering from hyperhidrosis.
Who suffers from excessive sweating?
Those who suffer are those who have an increased problem with sweaty armpits or palms. Those who have constantly “wet” clothes from their sweat. A problem that needs to be addressed is also faced by those who, because of their work, appear in front of an audience or under conditions of increased temperature, such as models, TV presenters, cooks, lawyers, salesmen, politicians, actors, singers.
Botox against profuse sweating
The Botox is also used to treat strabismus, the nystagmus, the blepharospasmbut also for cosmetic reasons against wrinkles. But for the treatment of hyperhidrosis Botox is irreplaceable, with excellent results.
With a very fine needle, drops of it are injected into the skin. It lasts about 10′-20′ only.
The procedure does not limit normal production, but only excessive production. Underarm sweating is reduced by 90% in the first two days and the full effect comes within the first week. Sweating at night can also be significantly reduced by using Botox. There will probably be a simultaneous disappearance of the odour associated with the reduction in sweating.
Most patients enjoy the benefits of dryness with one application of Botoxfor six to ten months. After that, the application must be repeated.
